This FAQ only applied to our on-premise software. Our cloud solution does not need license activation.
We support and maintain your product licenses as a free service. Because your license is only a one-time purchase, we can only provide free support for a limited time. We can not support old releases indefinitely because of the changing requirements of new hardware and operating systems.

If your software was purchased within the last 12 months or you have a valid support contract with Voicent, you may submit a new license request to get a replacement license.
If your software is over 12 months old and you do not have a valid support contract, you have two options:

A license is a special code that we use to make sure you get the software you want.
After you install Voicent software, you can submit the license request from the software you purchased with the steps below.
Please note we CAN NOT issue a license without you submitting a license request. In some cases the license key may go to your email providers spam folder. Please add webmaster@voicent.com to your contact list.
The Voicent license key is tied to your computer's network adapter card and system hardware. Do not remove or disable the network card that is used by the Voicent license. It is fine to have multiple network cards on one computer. This will not affect your Voicent license.
The license will only work on the computer which you have requested the license for. The license key is permanently linked to a unique Voicent Gateway ID number generated for the computer.
Yes. If your license key was issued within the supported period, you can upgrade the software at no additional cost.
