Echo Path Delay (EPD)

Echo Path Delay (EPD) measures the difference in time (ms) between the incident signal and its reflections. The delay depends on the physical distance of the connection, the velocity of propagation of the medium (media) and the digital processing time of the equipment that is used in the connection. An echo canceler generates an echo-canceling signal.
