Overview
To complement our rapid growth, we are actively looking for a talented and experienced Software Development Consultant to join our rapidly growing Professional Services organization. This is a key position which requires a unique blend of complex technical skills and dynamic customer facing experience. The ideal candidate for this role will come to Voicent with a strong understanding of current development technology stacks, as well as a sincere desire to learn new technologies and APIs on the fly. You will be interacting with customers regularly and will often be required to explain highly technical solutions to non-technical people, therefore excellent communication skills are an essential component to this position. In this position, you will be working on short term customer-facing projects where you will:
- Gather customer’s integration requirements through consultation
- Analyze feasibility using available APIs
- Develop customized solutions to meet the customer’s demands.
- Developing an HTML/Javascript solution for the purpose of submitting leads into Voicent
- Developing a Java application to update reporting data in a customer’s database
- To developing a C# application for the purpose of integrating to a homegrown CRM.
Key Skills
- Strong grasp of and hands on experience with:
- HTML, CSS, Javascript, and AJAX web application development
- C#, VB.NET and ASP.NET
- Desktop and server-side Java
- C, C++, and Objective-C (plus)
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills - Must be able to articulate the issue, identify options, and communicate solutions.
- Adept at time management and able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously without missing a beat.
- Ability to understand business requirements, determine level of effort associated and accurately estimate delivery timeframes.
Key Qualifications
- 3+ years building web-based applications with a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one programming language, such as Java, .NET, or PHP.
- Contact center/CTI development a plus (Genesys, Avaya, Cisco, Aspect, LiveOps, InContact and/or Interactive Intelligence).
- Experience with CRM Integrations, Marketing Automation, and Lead Management solutions a huge plus (Salesforce, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, RightNow, Oracle Fusion, Zendesk, SAP, Eloqua, Marketo and/or Velocify/Leads360).
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
