To complement our rapid growth, we are actively looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer - Automation to join our Technical Operations team. Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage and support automation framework for configuring highly available, resilient and secure production servers (both physical and virtual hosts) – in our global data centers
• Work with Development, QA and Systems teams to automate deployment of cloud based, customer facing applications
• Assist QA Ops team to implement/maintain consistent automation framework
• Potentially develop, implement and manage monitoring solutions of production environment
• Create/maintain documentation of solutions used (architecture diagrams, procedures, etc.)
• Perform maintenance after hours and in change windows
• Follow Change Management process

Required Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of Linux/Unix System Administration experience (including DNS, SMTP, VPN, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, and HTTP/HTTPS)
• Strong experience supporting mission critical 24x7 production/cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with automated deployment and configuration tools (Puppet) is a must
• Solid experience in scripting (Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell)
• OS and Applications hardening skills
• Experience with code management tools (Git)
• JBoss AS knowledge is a huge plus
• Great troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Good understanding of virtualization concepts is desired
• Capable of independently managing complex projects and preparing detailed build / test plans to implement new technologies/configurations
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experien
