As a member of the Lead Development Team you will be responsible for qualifying leads and generating pipeline for our SMB and Enterprise Sales Teams. You will be the front line for presenting Voicent to prospects. Success in this role will lead to career opportunities in other areas of the sales organization and company.
Key Responsibilities
- This role is focused on qualifying inbound leads from Marketing and converting them into sales opportunities.
- Meet a quota of qualified sales opportunities for Voicent's field sales team.
- Proactively and promptly process all leads to with the appropriate disposition.
- Qualify prospects based on established criteria of Fit, Budget, Authority, Need and Time, and gather critical sales intelligence.
- Must be able to make 50-80 calls per/day, with additional touch points by email, and deliver consistently against quota, despite imperfect systems and processes. We value a willing attitude and team-oriented mentality.
- Initiate relationships and develop rapport with prospects by anticipating needs and understanding unique customer environment.
- Effectively articulate the Voicent value proposition by phone and email.
- Proactively provide focused feedback on every aspect of the business, including sales tools, prospect intelligence, and results from marketing campaigns. Work closely with the sales and marketing team to continuously improve demand generation processes and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- Prefer 2+ years demonstrated, consistent success in a lead generation or inside sales role
- Familiarity or experience in Marketing Automation and Email Marketing is a plus, but not required
- High-caliber cold calling skills are a must! You must be engaging and compelling over the phone!
- Experience selling enterprise products/services, especially SaaS, or other technology is a plus
- Proven track record of achieving corporate quotas and personal goals.
- Ability to handle objections and educate prospects in a consultative manner.
- Ability to patiently and persistently build prospect relationships to cultivate latent demand.
- Ability to understand and deliver the value proposition of complex solutions.
- Ability to work effectively in a high pressure, agile environment and a willingness to efficiently respond to change and growth

- BA/BS degree preferred
