To accommodate our rapid growth, Voicent is seeking an experienced and motivated Director of Business Development to join our talented team. The ideal individual will demonstrate the ability to function as a strategic thinker, have the capacity to operate within the highest levels of an organization while building and maintaining business relationships that will ultimately drive sales leads and revenue.
The successful candidate will:
- Possess an in depth knowledge of key operational and technical components of a high performing, up to date CRM and communication automation technology.
- Have a clear understanding of how CRM, VoIP, Voice, SMS and WFO play a key role in ensuring the highest quality of operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain critical relationships within the assigned partner corporations with specific emphasis toward growing that partner business and increasing high quality lead flow to Voicent Sales Directors.
- Recruit new referral and resell partners and drive revenue producing activities.
- Develop, deliver and execute viable partner business plans.
- Represent the interests of the assigned partners within Voicent to elevate our partner relationship and build maximum awareness within Voicent.
- Work with Voicent Marketing to coordinate programs that ensure partner events are funded, attended and provide maximum amount of high quality leads.
- Evangelize Voicent partners at events, shows and webinars and other speaking opportunities.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, channel marketing or business development within a CRM, VoIP or contact center related business; i.e. support of a contact center organization, BPO, CRM, IP/Unified Communications or CRM and Business Automation solution component software company.
- A demonstrated ability to establish, maintain and grow business relationships successfully, with an emphasis on sales and partner processes.
- Strong strategic thinking with a penchant for action and results; excellent project management and creative problem solving skills.
- Exceptional communications skills, with a proven capability for public speaking, professional writing and active listening.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams towards an effective goal.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
